My heart goes out to her, although my brain tells me that unsympathetic cops in the Big Apple (or anywhere else) are nothing new.  Really, though, $600+ for a lockout?  At that point it would have been worth it to sign up for AAA Premium just to get the free lockout service. Even if you don’t drive.
